My absolute all-time favorite moment of the India race was being informed that Cookie and Mike had had a discussion about what to name the tuktuks. They decided to name them after three of the Pacman ghosts. The logic went; of course, the pink one should be Pinky, because it’s pink. The Rainbow one should be Inky, because it’s the darkest, and then the blue one should be Blinky. At this point, Cookie stops Mike and says “No, no. You’ve got it all wrong. The rainbow one needs to be Blinky.” Understandably, Mike asks why. Cookie responds by saying “Because Crystal’s blinker has been on since we left Fort Kochi a week and a half ago”. I split a seam laughing when I was told this.
